Can you please tell me if Webroot installed at all. Are you using a DVD Disc or are you downloading it form online from you e-mail instructions?

 

You can install from here by following these instructions,

 

To  Install WSA - Please follow the steps closely!

 

• Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AANA-A783-DE78-C584
  
• KEEP the computer online for the install to make sure it works correctly
  
• Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  
• Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode
  
• Let it finish it's install scan
  
• Reboot

Then there is the PC User Guide on getting Started.

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

Basically installation is simple and is started by just double clicking on the installer whether it be on a CD or downloaded onto your machine, and then following the instructions provided by Sherry.

 

If I may ask...where did you get the information that 'it would do it automatically'...it would be useful to know as it might give us some context as to your issue...so that we can make sure that we are providingthe right advice.
