Hi chazaird

Welcome to the Community Forums.

No, no auto renewal...but as yo approach expirey you will be reminded fairly often, and then have a 30 days grace period, from expiry, to renew.

If you renewal is going to be a 'true' renewal, and by that I mean you will add time to your existing subscribition, then there is nothing for you to do other than pay the renewal at the appropriate time (Best Buy; whenever you like but the payment is only taken on the actual expiry date or NON Best Buy; whenever you like and you card will be charged att he time/the days for the renewal period add to the days that you have left under the current subscription period, etc.

If however you go for a 'pseudo' renewal, i.e., you purchase a new subscription then you will get a new keycode and will need to enter it into WSA/activate it...and the new subscription will start from that point so if yo uhave time left on your current one then you will effectively lose it as activating a new subscription does not suspend the current or just about to expire one.

Hope that helps...but if not then please ask any further questions you may have.

Hi chazaird

Yes, the way to renew is either from the 'Upgrade/Renew' button under My Account > Keycode or you can go through the Webroot website but in the latter case you will be asked to enter your keycode.

Before you go any further may I check as to whether your original purchase was through Best Buy/The Geek Squad or some other retailer/direct from Webroot?  If the former, ie. Best Buy/The Geek Squad then you need to renew through them...you can call them on 1.800.GEEKSQUAD or go to their website (here).

If from another retailer or Webroot directly then you are doing it right and if you check the keycode shown in the cart it should match your current keycode, which you can find displayed above the Upgrade/Renew button.

Hope that helps?
