The initial installation scan indicated malware and adware found. I was reading the location of the threats before I clicked to remove the threats and the system interruped saying there was an issue and was rebooting. The computer went off automatically, rebooted, I opened webroot and it was scanning. The results said no issues found, I manually ran it again and no threats. The summary shows only 2 scans and no infections have ever been found....my question is did the malware/adware detect webroot before it was removed and did something to mask itself now? Or does the 1st scan automatically remove the threats, I don't think it did. I knew I had malware which is why I ordered the disk instead of downloading.

Well hello @ and welcome to our Community!
Sorry to hear of the trouble you had with your initial scan. It sounds like it may have removed some identified threats, but because it rebooted on its own it may have not captured that data properly.
If you want to be sure, you can always have our Support Team review your System. They should be able to take a closer look at some logs to determine exactly what happened. I also recommend saving their contact information for convenience in the future.
