I use Acronis True Image 2017 backup software on my Windows 10 ASUS laptop (Windows 10 Home Version 1607 build 16299.125). I am thinking about upgrading to Acronis True Image 2018 (Basic 1-pc) because it has a new feature called: "Active defense against ransomware". Does anyone know if this upgrade and its new feature is compatible with SecureAnywhere?
Thanks!

Hi lacoop48
Welcome to the Community forums.
From what I know of the feature you mention it purely works to protect the images that Acronis makes...nothing else. As such I do not believe that there should be any issue with running this & WRSA together.
I use Macrium Reflect which has a similar anti ransomware feature, and having this active whilst my system is protected by WRSA has not caused any issues as far as I am aware.
Hope that helps?

FYI - I decided to upgrade to Acronis 2018 (ATI 1 pc) because I already was using ATI 2017 and because of your response to my question. Very helpful. So far, there have been no software conflicts. Thanks again!
Even better news...glad to here that too. :D
