So I woke up this morning to find what I think is a virus or something saying in these words. (9:24am Check Virus Protection Windows Defender and WebrootSecureAnywhere are both turned off. Tap or click to see installed Antivirus App.) So I checked and see that there both on and not off. Can you help me?

Please do a clean reinstall of WSA!
Please follow the steps closely!
- Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot your PC
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and do NOT import any settings if offered by the installer as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot your PC once again
Thanks,
Daniel 😉
Its a Window 10 desktop dell Inspiron 3847
Thanks...but please follow the advice posted by Daniel in terms of carrying out an unistall/clean reinstall, and see if that resolves the issue for you.

What do you mean by (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE? does it mean if I bought the disk in best buy or the online purchase?s
(Did that make any sense on what I said?)

If you subscription is via Best Buy/The Geek Squad then you use the "Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE", and if your subscription is via Webroot then you use the other download link. ;)
Also what do you mean by Reboot like reboot the webroot or the pc?
Reboot the PC...apologies, but I would have thought that was obvious...as I do not see how one can reboot WSA...but obviously the instructions were not clear enough. :$
For me I not that smart but not that dumb, just that I didn't see what you mean by reboot. Also thanks for clarifying it.
Hi BLACKOPSJAW
I understand and that is why I apologised...the assumption was made that it would be understood and that was wrong...it should have been more clearly expressed. :(
Hopefully all is now clear and you can see if the suggestion is successful and resolves your issue. Do let us know as and when you try it.

Also I found out what reboot means. Its means you restart your pc. (Correct me if I am wrong okay.) Other than that thanks for the help
As I stated early in response to your questio...that is indeed what it means...restart your PC. ;)
Do I need to buy it again cause I bought the Internet Security Plus that should last 2 year.
Not if your subscription is valid, i.e., has not yet expired. If it is current/active then one can install, uinstall & reinstall as many times as needed or wanted.
I regularly uninstall & reinstall when trying out solutions in response to members queries when required. ;)

? is this better to understand now? We keep these and are called (Canned Speech) so we just Copy and Paste to help users and we all use the same Canned Speech.
the change is Reboot your PC. Do you have another idea for the Canned Speech?
