verizon popup box. Security Warning. Couldn't use the browser because of popup box. Click off the box and immiately returned. Phone number on box. I didn't open anything on this box. I turned off the computer. I turned on computer. Them ran Webroot Secure Anywhere Scan. Didn't find anything.

Does anyone have any ideas?

These are Scam popups, Try resetting your browser or browsers and clear your cache.

 

To help with these issues it's best to install an Ad Blocker for your Browsers:

So I would suggest to use one of the other Browsers as the Ad Blockers are free.

 

Edit What browser are you using and I can help you clear your cookies and history or reset your browser if you need help.

One supplementary question...on top of what Sherry has asked; do you only get the popups when trying to use your browser or do they also appear when you do not have a browser open?
