Hi Jclaude7
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Well, that is a good question but then again WSA does not specifically protect USBs per se...you can scan then with WSA manually, and then WSA will deal with anything it finds on the key...but to be honest I am suspecting that the viruses may be pre-exisitng on your USB key.
To check this I would format the USB key, to make sure that there is nothing at all on it and then plug it in as normal when using your PC, once you have finished on the PC get WSA to scan the USB to see if it finds anything.
I suspect that you will find nothing on it...but do let us know.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
How do you know you have a virus on your USB stick? Can you post a snapshot?
Thanks,
Daniel 😉
