When WRSA scans my computer I see it scanning programs and executables that no are no longer on the PC. This occurs prior to scanning for root kits and the file locations are shown in the format "deviceharddiskvolume##pc-name...*.exe". After scanning for root kits WRSA goes on to scan a multitude of files with standard location nomenclature like c:...
What and where are these old program remnants the AV is seeing? Is there any way to get rid of them?
