On one of my computers I have crypto 3.0 virus. Any suggestions on how I can get my files back? I am running windows xp. I am considering paying the ransom due to the fact that I have all family pics on the computer along with all of my ms word docs and itune songs.
Thanks
Steve

Hello & welcome to community
You have to follow thses steps -
1. First of all, download and install Webroot from the link http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe
2. Run a full system scan and remove detected malware.
3. Now To restore files there are three methods -
Method 1: The first and best method is to restore your files from a recent backup. If you have been regularly performing backups, then you should use your backups to restore your files.
Method 2: Try to restore previous versions of files using Windows folder tools.
Method 3: Using a data recovery software. I reccomend
EaseUs data recovery & Shadow Explorer
Best Of Luck 😃

The best thing to do is to Open a Support Ticket, and ask Webroot Support to take a look and remove this for you. There is no charge for this if you are a WSA license holder, with a current subscription.
