So my son has the PC version of Xbox Gamepass, and he recently downloaded the new game Back4Blood. Attempting to load it, though, results in a splash screen with easy-anti-cheat logo that completes the load -- and nothing else. Searching for this issue, many answers point back to Webroot as not allowing this to run. The “solution” is to uninstall Webroot.
Is this a known issue, and if so, can we expect it to be patched soon, or is the “solution” to uninstall Webroot?
Hi I already have this added to my allowed files and the game still refuses to launch after the initial splash screen. When I look in the Windows App/Event Logs it shows the program crashing out.
Here are the errors I keep seeing when attempting to launch:
This issue is with the EasyAntiCheat and we have a workaround fix that we can apply for you by remoting onto your computer. Please open a ticket and schedule a time, or for immediate assistance please call our support.
We have a permanent fix coming in the next update release cycle after the new year.
Is there a set date for the release?

We are currently in Beta for a build that resolves this issue. You have to be a member of our Beta program to view this post. Please DM me if you would like to join the beta program
This new component build 1.3.0.126 provides fixes for the Back4Blood and Halo Infinite games. We are still working to address issues with Battlefield 2042 and other applications.
I do not have a ETA on regular build, but this Beta build release is an important and necessary step before global release.
