How do you turn off the "personalized security report", which started popping up repeatedly?
Thanks.

Hi KBN

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may add here...before you uninstall/reinstall just try clicking on the Security Report prompt, displayijng the security report then closing it and rebooting your system...that sometimes does the trick.

Hello and Welcome to the Community Forum,

Can you uninstall and do a fresh re-install?  If it still happens please contact support so that this can get documented as still happening to some people.

Sorry about this, If you want instructions for a clean reinstall I can post it for you @ Here's.how to do a clean reinstall,

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AANA-A783-DE78-C584
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

It only lasts 2 to 3 days anyways!

Good Evening,

Going to read the security report, and then rebooting the computer, seems to have done the trick.  It's been a few days since the message popped up.

Thanks!
Kurt
