HI - I just got a pop-up screen saying Webroot wanted to make changes to my computer. I chose No for my answer. Was this legit? Anybody else receiving this. ?????????????? Thanks, Hopscotch.
Hi and welcome to the Community ?

Yes this is legit and is a known problem right now and is being worked on.

Once you have clicked on accept at boot up it should be ok for the duration.

You can read this topic for further information:

after power-up: "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes on your compute"
Question--- Has anyone had any problems with downloading ZOOM. I want to live stream Tai chi with David-Dorian Ross and I need to download ZOOM in order to be able to participate in the class. ??? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi hopscotch1,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

I  just tried downloading the Zoom player from here and didn't have any trouble. I did not install it, but a scan of the file with Webroot didn't return any results of malware.  What notifications are you receiving when trying to downlaod?

Regards,

BD
BD: Thanks so much for the info. I have not yet tried to install it. I wanted to make sure no one had bad experiences trying to do so or doing so. Thanks again! I will proceed and if I have problems doing so I will report back. I did think of installing on our Laptop, which has no re vital info on---don't bank or order anything on it. Maybe that is what I should do and not download ZOOM on our main computer. :>)
