I receiver 4-6 emails a day (into junk mail) from myself to myself. I scan for malware (regular every day) and find none. I have changed my password three times over the last month - does not help. Is there anything I can do to salvage my email address? If I set up a new address, how can I insure the old address will not be used for continued spoofing?
? without seeing the actual email header to figure out where the so-called spoofed mail is coming from it's virtually impossible to see what may be causing it. Could you tell what email provider / client you are using so we can direct you how to view the email header to get the details we need to see where it comes from and what causes it.
Thank you for your response.

Are you referring to "Outlook.com?" When I go to my email the the address is "https://bay177.mail.live.com/?fid=flinbox"

Does this help?
?

Yep that's it. outlook. You're using the outlook webmail client then.. correct?

Got some shopping to do so i'll reply in a few hrs. Is that suitable?
Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Email Spoofing there's not much you can do about it but the best thing is to just delete them or report them as I get many PayPal Spoof emails and I report them to spoof@paypal.com. Now the reason as most are from Spambots please read this article to learn more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spambot

Thanks,

For Outlook.com read here on how to report Spam emails: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/oemail-osend/how-do-i-report-spam-phishing-or-abusive-messages/41c96dcf-820c-412d-98a4-6753ab090b5f?auth=1
