My girlfriend's computer is infected with Cryptor - possibly "864B.exe Win32/Cryptor" . Webroot has not detected it yet, but i am certain that this is the problem with her laptop because she backed-up via usb some files from a known infected pc (which avast had just detected several variants of 'cryptor' on). That particular infected PC has since been rendered useless. Are there any tips or anything i can do to help save her laptop (its doing the same thing the infected pc was doing)? Is there anything i need to not do (other than to not use removable media)? Is there anything in particular i need to know about this specific type of malware? Any help is very much appreciated, thanks!
