Question guys: my console sometimes turns brown and the yellow triangle is on the "account' area - then it will go back to normal, i.e. green. what's going on? Thnx

 

EDIT: I just read that Brown means -  An important function has been disabled.  and it's occasionally on my Account tab...  any ideas?  (besides someone disabling my account on occasion?   ha ha -  paranoid?  no, not really)  I will change my pw...

Please go to the User Guide for explanation. Have you ran a Webroot Scan? Here's more information from the User Guide.

 

Also have you rebooted your PC?

Hi!  yeah, I've ran a scan - and it says nothings wrong
and i've rebooted several times... it's been happening since i've renewed... you don't suppose something happened there?
I have also deleted the program and reloaded it - and it's still happening

Not sure if renewing would cause this issue. Would you mind doing a reinstall of Webroot? It's relatively easy.

 

Can you please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AANA-A783-DE78-C584
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again

If you are having any problems with Webroot installing or you aren't sure how to do this, then I'd advise a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription and the Support Team will get this up and running properly for you.
