Hi davidco, welcome to the Webroot Community!
The cost to renew is always the same as the standard full purchase price of a new copy. Being in the US, I have no idea what it will be in Pounds or Euros, but you should be able to find that easily by:
Open WSA
Click the 'gear tool' next to My Account
Click the Upgrade/Renew button
This should bring your directly to Webroot's page for Renewal and Upgrades preloaded with the information for your current license level renewal pricing.
Let us know if this helps please 🙂

I thought it might be, just couldn't remember. Age y'know.
I have been using WSA for a while now, PrevX before that.
Thought I'd register here from Wilders.

Well, welcome again, glad to see you from Wilders! Though I did not post much there, I was a frequent reader. You are goin to find some good old friends here like @ and @ !
Tell me again about that age thing...... It took me a while to reply as I was on my tablet. I had to pause, go to the laptop, boot it up just to open MY WSA to verify I had it right as I could not remember for sure LOL!

Has any body noticed that the offered renewal cost on or near expiry of your product is 25% higher than you can puchase from webroot on the net.
Hi bll
Welcome tot he Community Forums.
Yes, most of us have noticed that...but that how Webroot has chosen to market/sell WSA directly...and yes, there are many who will renew by purchase a new keycode, etc. After all it is a free world...;)

Yeah, you can usually find a new keycode online cheaper than renewing directly. It kinda messes up our renewal tracking, as so many people opt to get a new keycode. Which makes sense - I'd do the same thing :)
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth for sure.
If I regulary try to upgrade my subscription, Webroot wants me to pay $79,99
If I pretend I'm a new customer, I get 25% off in the normal store which is $59,99*
If I buy over an affiliate website, I pay $29,99**
How about offering a fair discount for existing customers, so that their license tracking is not cluttered with expired licenses and they do not have to relicense all their devices?

You can buy from where ever you like and then Submit a Support Ticket and get the new keycode time added to your current one!
Please don't post Aff links here!
Thanks,
Daniel 😉

thanks for the information, this is good to know.
PS: I did strip the affiliate reference before posting, so only the webroot url remained where you could buy the $79.99 product for $29.99.
The aff was still in the link as I'm an Affiliate as well so I know! Like I said you can use them but not to be posted on the Community!

"Right, affiliate links are for our partners to share in places other than our own websites. It's counterproductive for Webroot to have those links available on our own site."
Thanks,
Daniel 😉

I've passed this feedback along to the folks who manage the pricing so that they can see what you guys have to say.
