I purchased a HP Pavilion on Jan 25 2014 from Staples. Came straight home and downloaded Webroot. We left a couple of days later for vacation.  My daughter was having some problems with the computer freezing up so she restarted it. The computer would not restart so she shut it off for awhile. The computer restarted but was slow.  This occured a couple more times over the past two weeks and again this morning.  We took it back to Staples and they said it was full of viruses and wanted to charge us $150 to remove them.  I said no that I would conctact Webroot first to take care of the problem.  Where do I start.

 Hi Mavis

Welcome to the Community Forums.

You are quite right not to listen to Staples.  If you are have a valid/active subscription for WSA then you have access to these Virus Removal options from Webroot, and they are free of charge to you.

To contact the Support Team please Open a Support Ticket, and advise them of the situation.  They should be able to take it from there and hopefully sort you out.

Please do come back here if you ahve any further quesitons.

Regards, Baldrick
