I don't know why this is happening, but whenever I scan my computer, the scan never finishes and is instead always stuck at 97%. Have tried shutting it down and rebooting, but still doesn't even bother to finish. Before, it was stuck at 99% and that also wouldn't finish. Even left it running overnight and was also stuck and 99% too. What is going on here? Is something wrong or am I doing something wrong to the antivirus?

Please try a uninstall / Clean install of WSA.

 

Please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE) Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and do NOT import any settings if offered by the installer as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again

Thanks ProTruckDriver. It was actually the processes on my computer and had way too many of them running.

I forgot to mention that I had the Windows version because I have a Windows computer. Sorry.
