Hi,

I manage brooks-malone.com for a friend/client.

We are concerned that the shield warning provided by Webroot says that malicious links or payloads are likely. Yet when we look at the URL in their tool, there only negative identified is the "popularity" of the site. We tried a reputation update request but were not successful.

Is there any way to find out the particular links or pages or files associated with the website that are resulting in this rating? It is a fairly secure Wordpress implementation on a managed hosting platform, with security plugins, and lots of security tweaks beyond the out of box implementation.

We'd obviously like the reputation score to improve, but also want to find out what if anything is "wrong" with the site so it can be fixed.

Thank you,

Erik Haagensen
Hi ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

All I can suggest is using this link to request a review. Since you said you've already tried that then perhaps you could submit a trouble ticket to reguest this.

Maybe our Community Manager ? has another suggestion?

Thanks,

bd

You can look up the URLs here:

http://brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php

to get more details about the rating. You can also submit a request for review if you think the site's rating is off base:

I'm looking at the page without issues so it could be the users without the Web Filter Driver (We Beta Testers have it enabled) that are seeing the Block?

Thanks,

Daniel ;)

Hi ?,

There is no warning when visiting the site, just the yellow web reputation icon next to the site when using Google, for instance.

??

I believe the OP was referring to that. 🙂
It looks like a conflict so it's best to contact the BrightCloud team: http://www.brightcloud.com/about/contactus.php But it should not be blocked even at this state.

Thanks,

Daniel ;)
