What is slime cleaner? It appeared on desk top- wants me to run a scan. Will this conflict with Webroot?

A good rule of thumb is that if you didn't go looking for a piece of software and deliberatly download it, then it's up to no good and should be removed.
I suspect that you are referring to SlimCleaner which is regarded by many anti-virus programs as a PUP/PUA. Personally I would definitely uninstall it. This article should help.

Hi jrutledge
Welcome to the Community Forums.
I would beg to differ with Nemo here and say, as a result of using SlimCleaner in the past, that it is a useful piece of software assuming that you meant to download/install it.
If you did not/want rid of it then you should be able to uninstall quite simply by going to the Add Remove Control Panel applet and runningthe standard unistaller that comes with the application.
