I paid for and got the new subscription. Yet webroot says I'm expired. I even had a technician help me get it in place. I hadn't deleted the old version and so it would not download.

Hi snorman
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Can I just check as to whether you still have an issue or if you are just advising that you had and that it is now resolved?
On the assumption that it is about the expiration I will venture a guess that what you have done is purchased a NEW subscription, i.e., you have undertaken what I call a 'pseudo' renewal in that you have received and activated a NEW keycode, rather than doing a 'real' renewal in which time is added to your existing/previous keycode...so NO new keycode had to be entered?
If that is the case and there was still time remaining on your previous subscription, then the message you are seeing is most likely down to the fact that the previous subscription is still active; it effectively runs in aprallel with the new until it actually expires, and as such continues to advise that the subscription is expiring. This will most likely continue until the 30 days grace period provided after the actual expiry date, unless you contact Support and ask them to manual cancel the previous sybscription/keycode.
Of course if I am incorrect as to my initial assertion then please disregard the above.
Hope that helps anyway?
