I got this WebRoot message after installing updates and restarting my computer

"This file is trying to install itself every time the computer turns on"

The file:  REGISTRYMACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ServicesWmiApRplPerformance

There was a count down timer saying it would block the file (again) in 120 seconds.  I had options to allow, allow always, and deny always.  The count down timer ended before I had a chance to research and see what the file is.

I did a full scan with no problems.  What's the correct choice for this alert?
Hello hermannmi,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

Looks like this is a legimate registry entry. This looks like a Windows Event Service.

Please look here at the PC User Guide and you can set this to allow

Let me ask @ just to confirm.

Kind Regards,

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

I wonder why WSA is detecting this and it's sounds like a firewall alert so I would Suggest you Submit a Support Ticket so they can have a look.

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
Hi I have this same issue and also blocked these files without knowing what they were. The files are not showing up in my block/allow list though, how can I allow them?

Hello,

Please look here and please Submit a Support Ticket: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Internet/False-positive/td-p/281076 so it looks like the Bug is back....? Also note what I posted here as WSA cannot remove those so no worries: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Internet/False-positive/m-p/281107#M10809
