time warner has detected botnet activity from a device connected to my router how can i find out what it is and stop it

I would advise contacting the support team so they can gather the necessary logs and investigate.
How did Time Warner contact you..by email or phone and are you sure this is legitimate? Because Webroot should be able to detect this.
