I don't know why it is so hard to back up my computer! Why do I have such a hard time?

Hello Lorraine!
I think that Lots of people can identify with that issue. I know that I used to struggle with it!
One thing that really helps me presently is I just scheduled the backup of my ENTIRE Computer to occur at a specific time Every Week. So (in my case) Every Saturday, I just run a back up. Once I Launch my backup program, it just does its thing Automatically:catembarrassed:!
Also, please be aware that your MAIN backup that you do each week (or however often you prefer) Really Needs to be an “IMAGE” Backup because only an “Image” will permit you to restore ALLSystem Settings & bring your computer to Precisely the state that it is now. IF, In Contrast, you merely back up all “Files”, this will not permit you to restore your entire SYSTEM.
There are several outstanding Image Backups –– Just Google for which is the best for you. Examples include •Macrium, •Aomei, •EaseUS, & numerous others. The Number One Criterion is Absolute Perfect Reliability! ! because it literally protects your entire computer experience!

Hi Lorraine
I hope that despite your backup-related issues you are keeping well?
I have to agree with Chuck in that the best approach is to take a complete image of your disk on a regular basis as that has the advantage of not allowing you to restore any element of your data selectively but also should you succumb to malware (unlikely with WSA protecting you but always possible) then all you need to do is retore the most recent image entirely and you have your system back to a pre infection state if the cleaning of the malware proveds to be troublesome.
Of course, one complication is that one needs external media for this but with the price of external hardrives these days that is not a big issue.
If you take a look at my signature line you will see what imaging app I use (I think that Chuck uses the same) and if you are interested in some further guidnace on this then you are welcome to PM me...as the forum is not the place to discuss this in more detail.
