I am getting the "untrusted connection" message when I attempt to connect with Goodreads.com. I have used my bookmark, typing in the address, and googling it and still the message comes up. I had Webroot scan my computer and all was well. Should I ignore the message and put in Goodreads as an exception?
Hello

This site is safe

Hi Bucs1960

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I may add to what Petrovic has posted...Is the message a Webroot web page warning of the site being potentially unsafe?  If so then based on what Petrovic has highlighted as being the reputation according to BightCloud, you can override the block/warnig page by locally whitelisting the site on your system so that further attempts to connect to the site are not blocked.

To do this click on the 'Unblock and proceed' button in the bottom left had corner of the Webroot block page (if it is displayed).

Furether to check on whether a web site is of reputable standing you can go to Brighcloud yourself and submit an enquiry (just like Petrovic did to provide the infofmation he did).  Just go to this web page, enter the url you wish to check, enter the CAPTCHA code required and BrightCloud should provide a synopsis of the site 'reputation'.

Hope that all helps?

Regards, Baldrick
