do I need any other virus protection to work with webroot such as mcafee or Norton?

Welcome to the Comminuty Forum,
Webroot is all you need even though Webroot can work along side other AVs I believe you don't need all the bloat and resources taken up by another Anti Virus.

Well this is all I have to say "The Webroot Intelligence Network determines over 200,000 files per day!
