webroots url classification gives voodoo shield a yellow light (using webroot filtering extension for firefox). this is legit software (ex. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2422274,00.asp).
ironically, voodoo shield recommends webroot. under their faq you read:
"Does VoodooShield work with traditional Antivirus Software? …
Webroot SecureAnywhere and VoodooShield work particularly well together, providing an extremely high level of security.
If you are looking for a great traditional AntiVirus that complements VoodooShield’s effectiveness, you can download Webroot SecureAnywhere here: www.webroot.com " (go to FAQ at top of page at http://voodooshield.com)
it would seem decent for webroot to give it a green light, in light that they are promoting webroot
