I just went through a cleaning process before you added Webroot to my system.  However, when I look at the tiles for apps, Vostern is still there.  The whole reason for spending the money for Webroot was to remove this from my system.

What do I do now?

Also, on my desktop, there is a message that Secureboot is not configured correctly.

Thanks,

Hi @ and welcome to the Webroot Community!

Vosteran falls under the category of potentially unwanted application and those are always hard to detect and to clean for a Antivirus product.

You can try to clean you PC by yourself, if you follow this tutorial: https:///t5/Techie-KB/How-to-Remove-Potentially-Unwanted-Applications/ta-p/40744

As a Webroot customer you can also contact support and have them look at your problem; this free service is included in your subscription.

By the way, regarding what you've written in your first sentence; did someone charge you for the cleaning process? And how installed Webroot on your device?
First of all, Yes, I purchased your product from Microsoft online support.  They had me leave my computer on so that you could clean up all the bad stuff and then load Webroot onto my computer.  They charged me $300 for the clean up and the lifetime purchase of Webroot.  I am not sure what company he work for because it was in a support chatroom.  His name was Michael Tarr
I'm sorry to say that, but I'm 99% sure that this was a SCAM.

I don't think that the person worked for Microsoft, as they don't offer such a service, and also there Is no lifetime subscription of Webroot. They probably just wanted to trick you into sending them your money.

Try to explain this situation to your bank and see if they can get your money back.

@ (as you're online at the moment): Do you have another idea on this topic?
Yeah that sounds like a classic "Microsoft" Scam, we did have lifetime licenses a year or two ago.But I wouldnt be able to tell without lookin at the Keycode they used.
