We have a virus infection in an external hard drive that came from the primary hard drive of the computer and Webroot says they do not deal with this. WHAT do we do????
Hello atenra,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

May I ask who told you that Webroot doesn't handle a virus infection on an external drive? Webroot or Best Buy Geek Squad?

Can you tell us what the virus is on your external drive and who saids you have one?

By the way  WSA keeps an eye on External Hard Drives and USB Drive's as it has many Shields such as the USB & Realtime Shields: http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C3_Shielding/CH3a_WhatShieldsDo.htm

Please see this short video to learn more: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-Education/What-Happens-if-Webroot-quot-Misses-quot-a-Virus/...

My advice would be to issue a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription.

Kind Regards,
