I just got my C.D. today from webroot and installed it to my p.c. do i take it out after it is finished or leave it in.

Take it out 🙂 There is no need to leave it in, but make sure you leave the default settings to allow automatic updating, and to connect the computer to the internet at least a couple times a week in order to get any updates.
