In an older post Baldrick (waves at Baldrick!) stated.
- If you have the time please check what version of the extension you are using as it is also possible that you do not have the up to date version; sometimes it appears that whilst WSA itself updates the extensions do not 'move up' with the main app
A Silver VIP then stated:
- Since the Web Filter is supposed to be a major part of our protection, please also submit a Trouble Ticket so that Webroot Support will have more information to work with in order to repair the problems you are having
Clean reinstalls of Webroot have not helped. Browsing has become so tedious I now use BrightCloud to check and, as you can imagine, research has become VERY tedious.
My method that was working was the following, but this no longer works.
Open Sandboxie and open IE 11. To see the green/red/etc icons I used IE 11. Since the first screen has no icons I would select page 2 (has icons) then page 3, etc. Once a page was reached, usually page 3, with no icons then select page 1 and usually page 1 would now have the icons. Then, using Sandboxie, review pages with green icons.
Painful, yes, but is one reason only 1 virus in 35 years has made it to my computer.
