Hi,
Fred B, new guy.
Have two virus protections, Webroot and Stopzilla. Today my Webroot icon disappeared and a message said that it had been moved, Webroot could not be opened. Ran a scan with Stopzilla and found numerous infections on the computer. Had to go to Webroot web page and hit install and everything came back. Anyone else have this issue.

Hi Redtruck
Welcome to the Community Forum Fred!
I haven't heard of this before and I've been around this Forum for a year or so. Did you run a Webroot scan also after the fix?
You did the right thing in reinstalling Webroot again to get the functionality back. That's usually what we recommend when there is a possible glitch in the program. Which is rare and I can't explain the disappearance of the Webroot icon. Sometimes a simple reboot will bring Webroot back to the surface again.
Happy to hear you have things up and running again.
Kind Regards,,
