I have a half dozen websites that will not delete from my browser history drop down no matter what I do.

Five will delete when I click "X" to remove them but they always come back when I log back on.

One will not delete no matter what I do.

Thanks

Hi psabe1

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Would you be able to advise as to which browser or browsers you are using when you see that and exactly what steps you are taking to delete the history and what you have set as the pages that should open when you open up your browser (you can define multiple pages or sites to be opened as a default when you open a browser and sometimes this is set inadvertently, etc.).

We await your feedback on this.

Hi Baldrick,

Glad to see you have responded to my question, as no one else has.

It doesn't matter what the browser is. Whether I go into AOL, MSN, Yahoo, Bing it doesn't matter.

When I ckick on the little magnifying glass at the top with the little arrow next to it, the same 6 websites keep listing.

Needless to say, these 6 websites are not ones that I would like my wife to see, as she occasionally uses this computer.

Now you see my delema. I cannot remove these websites. I've tried rebooting my system and deleting them. I've tried

running Webroot to delete them. I've tried going into the start program and deleting browsing history but they won't go away.

Any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated
