It's up to you hoiw how often you run the optimizer. I run mine every week but it's mostly depends on how much you are online and what not.

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

I would recommend at the very least monthly but personally I run it once a week before I do the weekly image of my system.  One thing that I would recommend is that you go into the Advanced Setting (top right hand side of  main WSA panel) > System Optimizer tab and check out that all the default options set are those that you want...there are a number not checked and it is up to one to decide if one wants to clean more or less than defaulted.
