Are you by any chance accessing your emails using a web mail account?  If so then does this happen with just one email or all emails?  Also which browser are you using to access the wbe mail account?

 

Please take a look at this thread from the MS Support Forums on a similar topic; Otlook.com -related but it may yield some options as to where to look for the issue.
