Are you using the business endpoint protection or the consumer version of the product?
If under the business, look at your console, then your policy settings, then under Web Threat Shield, look for "Activate Browser Extensions" and ensure that is turned on.
As well, locally on the system, (if they are unmanaged), look for the same settings under the Advanced Settings area

Thanks for your reply; Under web shield all are checked: Enable web shield, activate brower extensions, block malicious websites, enable realtime anti-phishing,show safety ratings when using search engines. I don't remember changing any setting since install.
Hi wally2u
Welcome to the Community Forums.
I would first of all try to uncheck uncheck all of the option under Web Shield, save the configuration (having entered the requested CAPTCHA characters, ertc.) and then immediately check the options again and Save. Then try a search to see if the site reputation icons are displaying.
If that does not work then I would undertake an uninstall/clean reinstall of WSA. If you would like to try this they please follow the steps below closely!
Either way post back to let us know how you get on.

- Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
- KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and do NOT import any settings if offered by the installer; to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
- Let it finish it's install scan
- Reboot once again
Either way post back to let us know how you get on.

Have you checked your browser to see if the extension/add-on is still there or enabled?
Sometimes the service for the color dots goes down and the icons turn to a grey dot or a white circle.
Last resort would be an uninstall, then under program data delete the WRData folder, then reinstall with all the browsers closed out. Then load them up an dsee if the extension installs.
That or place a support ticket.
Right now it's working fine on my deployments.
