If you are trying to update from a 'third party' site or download link, that is the reason: such downloads often also will try to include other 'trial' or 'extra' software which is being blocked by WSA.

 

Please make sure you only update Java directly from the source here: https://java.com/en/download/index.jsp  During the process, make sure to UNCHECK all additional or option software.

Ssherjj...I appreciate your willingness to help. It seems I am on a neverending cycle here. I go on line and select the preferred download and up pops my store ...telling me to go to the store for this. I go to the store and it tells me to go on line. No help at all. Don't know what to do. I have tried over and over. Even tried chat with on-line help and she was kicked off by my computer..I guess.

I was thinking maybe it's Flash Player that you need?

Click here to check your version and Here to Download and here is an Alternate Download make sure you uncheck any unwanted add-ons and download both the one for IE and the other for other Browsers such as Firefox, Safari, Opera plugins!

 

If all fails then would you issue a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription.

I have a brand new hp and I downloaded ADOBE READER just fine. First thing I did was the webroot. Now I can't play certain games without the Java...I am using MSN search engine.

Well can you try Chrome or FF and see if you can play games with a different bowser?
