My windows security center claims that weroot virus protection is turned off while webroot secure anywhere says I am fully protected. What is going on?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
This is a known issue that has been around for a while and on which the Support Team are actively working. There have been a couple of attempts at a fix (which work for some but not all), with a further fix currently being tested by the Beta group. Please see this other thread for more details.
Just to confirm that you are indeed well protected and ithat the issue is with what the Security Centre is reporting not the protection that WSA is providing.
