why does my computer keep informing me that webroot is turned off? When I go into webroot, and scan, no threats are shown and all programs functional. I am concerned that my computer has been 'hacked'.

You are not being hacked. We aplogize for any inconviences and please have some more patience as I am sure this issue will be resolved soon with the next new Webroot release.
