My Micro Soft security essential's programs started giving me ques and warnings today.Yesterday it downloaded and I gave it permission to install updates after I ran a Micro Soft security scan.So today after the ques I let the Web Root Security program run a full scan and it encountered 9 active threats and prompted me to remove the programs in which I did. Now I haven't been on line yet,but my Micro Soft security Essential's program is behaving according. The Web Root program reebooted my lap top so we will see what happens.

Hello Michael2, welcome to the Community!
To be honest, I am not quite sure if you are asking a question here.... if so could you clarify a bit?
From the sound of it, after completing Microsoft updates, WSA found some issue. Once you have had the computer booted up, online, and a full scan run, let us know if everything is working OK or if you need a hand with something 🙂
