I'm ready to purchase the product but I'm not certain of the distinction between the referenced two after viewing the comparison chart.
1. How can the Complete 'Eliminates traces of online activity' unless you're going through a VPN?
2. Apart from #1 and 25GB of storage is there any other significant difference between Plus and Complete?
3. Both Plus and Complete say 'smartphones'. Regarding iOS, I thought Apple didn't allow antimalware software?
Thanks,
Mark

Hello Mark and Welcome to the Webroot Coommunity!
Well ISP is good for 3 devices and Complete is good for 5.
1. Complete has System Optimizer see here for more info: http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/638/Changing-System-Optimizer-Settings
2. To add to Complete as you said it has 25GB of online storage and System Optimizer. http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/619/Backup-&-Sync-Overview
3. True it will not run on iOS but with the Complete version you can use the Password Manager same as ISP, Back Up & Sync and the free Secureweb Browser so your getting the ability to use the 25GB of back up and Sync and Password Manager across 5 devices. https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-Mobile-for-iOS/Webroot-iOS-iPhone/ta-p/283816 and https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-Mobile-for-iOS/Organizing-Multiple-Users-in-Password-Management-for-iOS-Devices/ta-p/28948

Yes, I find complete with 2 extra devices and the 25 GB of backups a better deal for me then Plus.
I do not know about you but for me 5 devices is only the tip of the iceburg so to speak.
3 family computers and 3 cell phones, and 3 laptops, and 3 tablets...
Device limits on security software are one of the very first things I hope companies like Webroot will ditch, it is not like it costs more to download the bits multiple times.
I am really wishing for a family edition sku of all three webroot home levels with unlimited devices in your home, AV, Plus and complete, not sure my wish will come true, but with so many people like me with dozens of devices needing protecting something needs to give soon.

The iOS password managers I've tried (Norton, LP) require that you load the URL from their app. Is this the way Webroot handles passwords? What I've been waiting for is a PM that, when an iOS browser (Firefox, Dolfin) lands on a website, the PM will auto fill the credentials.
Will the PM import credentials from Firefox's onboard store and from Last Pass?
I already use OneDrive (1 Terabyte) of storage but extremely limited backup spec/filter. I have Norton's backup but do not use it (always found the filespec difficult/awkward/clumsy). So the question remains: How fine-grained are Webroot's backup job definitions? Is it simply a 'click directories' and go or filtering you can actually work with?
I haven't visited/read your links which I'll do later today.
I've been slowed down on ordering given my problems doing so on the PCmag affliate webroot sale/download page (reported to Webroot support last evening).
Thanks for your welcome and thorough response!

The backup allows you to define folders.
there is a default folder which you can just shut off (as I have) and then you just select what you want to store in the webroot cloud backup. You can not select files but you can create essentially a hot folder what I did on my removable drive G: and stuff things in there you want to have a cloud copy of. I also in my case keep all my documents and pictures as well.
That is all there is to it.

Btw, I found the reason for not being able to execute the purchase on the affiliate Webroot page. Firefox. No problem when I switched browsers.
