This morning as I logged on I received a message from Webroot requesting I acknowledge I had read the change in user terms. I read the terms.
I discovered Webroot is now requesting us to surrender our rights to use of the justice system (class actions) in order to continue to use their products. I find this offensive. Further, when I elected the 'Choose Later' option, my firewall, realtime shield, and web shields were automatically turned off by Webroot.
Hmmmm...that doesn't seem like action someone who really cared about my online security would take.
Does anyone else see this as a bullying tactic by another American corporation who has forgotten the old adage, 'the customer is always right'?
