I have a strange issue. I have just discovered that Backup & Sync is not backing up my small pdf files. I have reset my file size limits and I have 500MB pdfs that are backing up fine, but the ones that are small (e.g. 100KB) are not. I have plenty of online space left. They show up with an x in file explorer and do not appear in my online backup folders. Small files can be just as important as big ones. Any ideas? I've searched with about every keyword I can think of and couldn't find anything.
Thanks,
Richard

Hello RPM
Welcome to the Webroot Community,
Please have a look here http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/692/Uploading-files-and-folders....which shows you how to upload your files .
You might also want to ask Support about this by Submitting a Support Ticket which is free of charge with your Webroot subscription. And they will certainly assist you in this matter.
Hope this helps?

Hi RPM
Have never had any issue with small files but to be honest I cannot find a small .PDF...LOL. Your best bet is to Open a Support Ticket to let the Support Team know and let them investigate as this should not be happening.
Please let us know what they come back with as and when you do.
Regards, Baldrick

Hmm, I never had a problem with small files either. I use the Backup almost everyday. It will be interesting to see what Support has to say.
I have figured out what is going on but not how to correct it. I put in a ticket as recommended and the response was basically to set up a specific file type for pdf to see what happened. This made me curious and I went to File Explorer (Windows 10) and did a search for one of the specific files that is not backing up. Windows couldn't find it. This made look for a common thread for the "overlooked" files. They were all produced from Office products using the Microsoft Print to PDF option. To test the theory, I opened the file in Acrobat and saved it from there. I then had Webroot run a backup and low and behold it found it and backed it up. I then tried File Explorer and it too was able to find it. Opening files in Acrobat and then resaving is not a solution. I have shared this observation in a reply to the ticket. Will keep you posted. BTW, this is a scenario that should be easy for anyone to recreate and verify if this is unique to my environment, or systemic to Windows 10.
