The Backup & Sync component isn't well designed for users to start using it. When I install a client, it should offer walk me through signing into the service, then explain the Backup and Sync features. By default it says "Backup" is on, but it's not actually going to back up anything.

 

To add folders, users have to know to click the faded gear in the GUI. This should be under the backup pane. I really don't like you hiding all this stuff under the gear icon and not putting a link to the settings for a section when you open its pane...wish you wouldn't wait until WSA 2015 to rethink it.
