Does Webroot Complete detect and eliminate "blaster" type viruses? My Uverse wireless router has presented me with an "excessive internet sessions" error indication and infers that the cause may well be that my PC has a blaster type virus and goes on to say that the device (my PC) should be scanned for viruses and if any viruses are evident, to eliminate them/it. I have all the scanning options set to high or maximum and scan dailey but to no avail. If I contact Uverse technical support regarding this issue they will more than likely tell me to scan the PC for viruses. Can you help me?

Hi wschools
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Given the age of the Blaster virus and its various mutations I would suspect that WSA will protect you from them. As to wherther it will clean them if and when detected that is a more difficult question answers as that very much depends on what the virus does and how safe automatic cleansing can be made...it is not possible to clean everything or every type of malware.
Therefore I would do as Sherry has suggested and open the support ticket to pose the question.
