Been trying to delete Webroot for awhile now since no one remembers installing it in the first place (been a few years) and it just keeps reappering.  Webroot has been on this comp since before I owned it and today I found a file in my hidden programdata folder named WRdata that takes up 50gb of data and the dates of the files go back consistantly to January this year and then a jump with with 4 entries from 2012 which I assume is when this was first installed.

I checked on the internet and was led here...Not sure what to do about it so I'm submitting it for your consideration.

Further edit: When I delete it the program reappers on next start up.  I want it gone and not taking up 57.6gb of space doing who knows what.  If I put this in thee wrong area I hope it can be moved...I assume this is some form of virus and not your actual product.

Hello Lahral90, Welcome to the webroot Community Forum. :D

Since no one remembers installing Webroot and it has been on your computer before you owned it, the first step I would recommend is submitting a Support Ticket.

Please also see this TKB Post.
Thank you for your reply.  I will start a ticket and look over the document.  As far as I can see Webroot has records of every process ever made on the computer.  I'm assuming that's where the data size comes from.  While I believe that is a great feature for trouble shooting it seems to be a bit excessive to keep it active all the time considering the file size.
