Hello mr68amx, welcome to the Webroot Commumity.
SCAM ALERT!!!
Microsoft NEVER calls anyone asking to do a remote session. Ever.
Error codes are normal in Windows... things happen, Microsoft will NEVER contact you about these by phone, email, text, any other communication method.
This could well have been a 'cold call', just fishing for a bite while there is nothing at all wrong with your PC. If you are worried that WSA may have missed something, or if you went to ANY website provided by that phone call, you should submit a Trouble Ticket to have Webroot Support take a look.

Where did they have you go in your PC to pull up the event log?

It was a scam. Don't do whatever they say, they're trying to gain access to your computer and either get you to pay them for the service or steal personal info stored in your computer. Next time you get a call like that, hang up and report it to proper authorities.
I strongly suggest you report the scammer's phone number to Callercenter.com and raise a warning, too. There could be others who are not aware yet. You never know when the info you share might save someone from falling victim to the scheme.
