Has anyone heard of that new virus that waits for you to log on to your bank account and then slowly steals your information and money? Supposed to be very sophisicated and can show everything is fine when in fact it's cleaning out your bank account. Supposedly arrives to infect your computer when you click on a suspicious email not knowing that it will infect your computer. I heard something about that, as a general rule, I never open any email that I do not recognize. I run Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete alongside Malwarebytes Premium home, and I have found that both suites compliment each other very nicely, it's almost like they were made to work together. I run them on all three laptops here. Some may say that's too much money to pay for security, but it really isn't when you look at it. There are some suites out there that cost way more than both of them put together, and they are not as good. Thank You all very much for your feedback. Have a very Good rest of the evening. Mark79

Hi Mark79
I cannot say that I have, and I have done some research and have found no reference to a threat or malware with that name, so I suspect that it is either known under another name or you have indeed misspelled it. ;)
Having said that WSA, via the Identitiy Protection Shield, has been proved to be one of the most effective security apps when it comes to protection of banking transactions (please see this previous thread for more informaiton on that).
So I am reasonably certain that WSA users are well protected. But perhaps ? would give us the benefit of his expertise in domain on this topic?

Hi ?
Is this "virus" you are talking of Zeus Banking Trojan Variant Goes Completely Undetected?
It has been around for a while now but is well known.

Thanks Baldrick, I probably misspelled it, but I heard something about it, I don't know how dangerous it really is, but the criminals are always trying to scam you with new online threats it seems. There always seem to be a new bug coming out of somewhere. I feel very safe with Webroot. Thanks for your reply. I heard something about this bug and that it infects when you open an email that it comes attached to. As a rule, I won't click on an email that I don't recognize or expect. Thanks marl79
Hi Jasper: I probably misspelled it. It starts with a G. I've heard of the Zeus and this may be new variant of it, not sure though. Just wanted to put that out there to see if anyone has heard of it. May possibly be a new variant. Thank You very much. mark79
?,
It looks like you probably mean GozNyn? It is a relatively new banking malware - a hybrid of two malware variants acutally. We've been seeing it since late March/Early April.

its the Chinese, they already took 13 million from the state burning food stamps cards as they hacked OBAMACARE, GOOGLE, and Yahoo accounts, don't do anything except in person, my iPhone keeps reverting to allow access to facetime and apps while the phone is locked rendering it useless, they built the iPhone and snuck in a little bit extra equipment, maybe because Obama ran up a tab on them and ditched the presidency
Apologies lburge7114, but your point is precisely...what?
