Sorry to hear this. I have experienced this myself so I definitely know how you feel. If these files existed on a hard drive then I would suggest not using the hard drive at all if possible. (not helpful if they were on your C: drive:() This is because although deleted, these files may still exist on the hard drive but may be over-written at any time. If the files were on a flash drive then your chances for recovery are better. I have to tell you that the recovery process can be tedious and labor intensive, but worthwhile if successful. Community guidelines prohibit me from posting the method I would suggest, but if you PM me (click on my screen name and choose "Send Message") I can recommend a free program that I've had success with. :)
