I am having trouble downloading from a particular trusted website. Their tech support suggested Deactivating Webroot before downloading, and a I clicked the shields and firewall off, but it still didn't work.  Ever since Webroot changed my Key code, I have been having this problems.  Is there a connection?  Tell me how to deactivate Webroot. It also shows my other computer is infected, but when I scanned, it shows a file that is not there as being infected.  Please help me. Either of my computers is working right.

I don't know how to do it but when I was research a problem I have I saw something in the FAQ section that mentioned deactiving the virus protection temporary.  That may be a good place to look.

Hello,

You can shut down protection by right-clicking on the Webroot SecureAnywhere tray icon (Green circle with a W) at the bottom right of your screen and selecting Shut down Protection - you will need to enter a CAPTCHA and then it will shut down WSA.

If a trusted website is being blocked I would suggest opening a Support Ticket so that we can review the URL being blocked. We can also look into the issue with a file not there being detected - that is not normal.

Thanks,
